Bridge to Global Literature
Ahana Biswas, a professor by profession, was born in West Bengal, India. She studied at Shantiniketan in West Bengal and now has settled there. Apart from being a prominent Bengali poet and writer, she is also a painter. Her published books in Bengali include Meyeder Hostel Jiban: Andarer Kathamala, Asatijiban, and Ladies Compartment. She has received several awards, including the Somen Chanda Award and the Bharatbyas Award, to name a few.
Adrija Ghosh is a writer, translator, and producer. She was awarded a translation residency at Dragon Hall, Norwich by the National Centre for Writing in May 2022. Her debut collection ‘The Commerce Between Tongues’ is forthcoming with Broken Sleep Books in June 2023. Find her on Twitter and Instagram at @byadrija.
